Me listening to a 7ā 45 in one ear but digging the #vaporwave in the other @luxury.elite @cutcornerrecords
Yesterday I got exposed to a genre called #vaporwave while I was digging for vinyl at @cutcornerrecords. I met the artist @luxury.elite and I asked if this genre that was being mixed was SynthPop but I was told sort of but itās actually called Vapor Wave and itās a completely addictive sound that I canāt explain but as Iām watching a documentary I found online about it, itās basically an underground scene with a mix of music of 80s and 90s samples with retro VHS tape looking clips.
I also stopped by the underground spot @samiatthealbum and got to meet him as well. Thx for the much missing 45s brother!
